Why choose Invisalign® – teeth straightening?

When you think of teeth straightening do you only think of metal braces?
If so, it’s time to take a second look, it will have to be a really close look as
Invisalign® aligners are almost invisible.

  • A great way to straighten your teeth

Featuring innovative SmartTrack® technology, Invisalign straightens your teeth through a series of transparent plastic aligners.

  • This treatment can not only enhance your smile but can boost your confidence

Invisalign® corrects over-crowding, closing gaps and straightening your teeth to give you a great looking smile.

  • Removable, comfortable & clear – make it fit around your lifestyle

Bespoke Invisalign® aligners are custom made to fit your exact gum line so you can comfortably wear them.

  • Invisalign generally takes 6 – 18 months to see full results

The average duration of Invisalign® treatment is six-nine months, though you will typically start seeing results in a matter of weeks.

  • Clinically proven – ‘Invisalign® has treated over 3 million people worldwide’ (Invisalign® UK)

Invisalign® is one of the most technologically advanced and effective cosmetic dental treatments available in the world right now.

What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® is one of the most technologically advanced and effective cosmetic dental treatments available in the world right now.

Invisalign® straightens your teeth without unsightly braces. People often can’t tell that you are wearing them at all. This is great if you are an adult with a professional job, for instance. No one is going to know unless you tell them. It’s a treatment that fits around you, and you are in control.

Over 3 million people worldwide have had this treatment.

Here’s how it works

Invisalign® creates a powerful realignment of your teeth with the most non-invasive and subtle technique; you wear either completely invisible braces or sometimes a removable mouth-shield.

On top of that, these invisible orthodontics are the most highly advanced technology available, so expect a much shorter treatment time and a more natural looking final result.

The success rate is high and it takes 6-18 months to see full results.

Key facts

• To determine whether Invisalign® is right for you we provide a free consultation with one of our experienced dentists

• From the beginning of your Invisalign® journey you will have a digital view of how your teeth will look after treatment through state-of-the-art ClinCheck® Software

• Straightening is achieved by a series of transparent aligners worn in sequence over a period of weeks

• Bespoke Invisalign® aligners are custom made to fit your exact gum line so you can comfortably wear them for the recommended 22 hours a day

• The average duration of Invisalign® treatment is six-nine months, though you will typically start seeing results in a matter of weeks. The exact length of treatment depends on your specific needs

• Invisalign® aligners are easily removed for teeth cleaning and do not require you to avoid certain foods

• Wearing a retainer after Invisalign® treatment will ensure that your newly straightened teeth remain in the correct position. Typically, you’ll wear your retainer full time for a short period and then transition to wearing it only at night. Many people will eventually graduate to just wearing their retainer a few nights per week, though this will depend on the advice of your dentist

• Invisalign® teeth straightening can help protect your long-term oral health as straighter teeth are less likely to accumulate harmful plaque

• As part of your free initial Invisalign® consultation, you will receive a free digital scan using our state-of-the-art iTero® scanner†. This innovative scanner not only creates computerised 3-D images of your teeth, it also shows you how they would look after Invisalign® straightening

• The Invisalign® SmileView™ app simulates your new smile on your mobile device

· Please come on your own unless you are with a child or vulnerable person who needs support
· Visit the toilet before you leave as access to our facilities will be restricted
· Have some light refreshments as we might not be able to provide anything like this

· In between patients’ appointments we complete a thorough decontamination, infection control and sterilisation process of the surgery
· When you see your dentist, therapist or hygienist for your appointment, they will confirm your medical history and carry out an ‘on the day’ risk assessment and consent process. We are trying to minimise you having to fill in too many physical forms so we will ask many questions and record these to your records
· At the end of the treatment any payment will be taken with a contactless payment and we’ll ask you to use hand sanitiser before leaving
· We look forward to seeing you – safely! Please remember please cancel your appointment if you or any of your family have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been contacted by the NHS tracing system or are self- isolating

Together Dental

Just a little note to remind you that we are open, and ready to treat you. We want to reassure you that we are taking extensive precautions to safeguard your health, and the health of our team. It is safe to visit the dentist.

We are carefully following government guidelines on infection control, we can continue to see you and offer you the same levels of dental care. With the additional PPE and care pathways we’ve embraced, appointments are taking a little longer than usual. We are required to allow ‘fallow time’ (space between appointments to reduce infection risk). We’re pleased to say, at Together Dental, we’ve invested in air-extraction systems, HEPA filtration systems to reduce fallow time, increasing the number of patients we can now see.

We appreciate your continued understanding whilst we clear the back log of patients. We are currently still prioritising patients with emergency and urgent needs, and gradually resuming routine care. Appointments are still limited as we work through the backlog and waiting lists. Our NHS team of dentists and nurses are working at full capacity and our private dentists are now offering as many appointments as they can, to expand our care.
