Why choose dental implants?

You might need dental implants because they are quite simply the best way to replace a missing tooth. They act as a natural tooth root, allowing the crown to be attached. They enable us to restore your natural teeth.

  • Look and perform just like natural teeth

Implants are permanently attached and secure. They are cared for just like natural teeth and enable you to eat whatever you like.

  • Protect your long-term dental health

Implants help preserve bone in the area of the missing teeth and protect your facial structure. They prevent movement and drifting of teeth which can disrupt your bite.

  • Eliminate the discomfort and inconvenience of dentures

Implants are cleaned just like natural teeth and do not cause the gum irritation and inflammation commonly associated with dentures.

  • Preserve healthy neighbouring teeth

Unlike other means of replacing missing teeth, Implants do not require healthy neighbouring teeth to be drilled or removed.

  • Strong and long-lasting

Implants are a very durable and long lasting solution for missing teeth with a success rate of over 97%.

  • Spread the cost of treatment

Spread the cost of treatment We offer a range of flexible finance plans, including an 0% finance option.

Here’s how it works

A dental implant is a small titanium screw secured to the jaw that acts like a natural tooth root. Once the implant has fused with the bone, a crown, bridge or restoration is secured to the implant.

Dental professionals widely agree that implants can achieve the most natural looking and long lasting solution for missing or damaged teeth. Their durability, functionality and realistic appearance has led to growing demand as patients look beyond traditional dentures and bridges to a more effective solution for tooth loss.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are dental implants the best way to replace missing teeth?

Dental professionals widely agree that implants can achieve the most natural looking and long-lasting solution for missing or damaged teeth. Their durability, functionality and realistic appearance has led to growing demand as patients look beyond traditional dentures and bridges to a more effective solution for tooth loss.

Would dental implants work for me?

Dental implants are suitable for most adults, provided they have sufficient bone tissue.

What is the success rate for dental implants?

Dental implants have a success rate of over 97%. Contraindications for implants include:

– Periodontal gum disease

– Teeth grinding

– Heavy smoking

– Severe or poorly managed diabetes

– High alcohol intake

– Conditions that suppress the immune system

What can be done if I don’t have sufficient bone tissue to support implants?

Inadequate bone tissue may necessitate a surgical bone grafting procedure before implantation. Over time, bone in the area of missing teeth will naturally shrink and a bone graft may be required to ensure stability for the implant. During your consultation you will be advised whether a bone graft or a sinus lift procedure will be necessary in your case to ensure the stability of the implant. How Much Do Dental Implants Cost? The cost of implants varies from case to case, depending on how many teeth need to be replaced and whether you will need supplementary procedures, such as a bone graft. Our prices are competitive and transparent. A full breakdown of the cost of your treatment will be included in your treatment plan to ensure you are fully informed before proceeding. We offer interest free financing to help spread the cost of your dental implants.

Together Dental

Just a little note to remind you that we are open, and ready to treat you. We want to reassure you that we are taking extensive precautions to safeguard your health, and the health of our team. It is safe to visit the dentist.

We are carefully following government guidelines on infection control, we can continue to see you and offer you the same levels of dental care. With the additional PPE and care pathways we’ve embraced, appointments are taking a little longer than usual. We are required to allow ‘fallow time’ (space between appointments to reduce infection risk). We’re pleased to say, at Together Dental, we’ve invested in air-extraction systems, HEPA filtration systems to reduce fallow time, increasing the number of patients we can now see.

We appreciate your continued understanding whilst we clear the back log of patients. We are currently still prioritising patients with emergency and urgent needs, and gradually resuming routine care. Appointments are still limited as we work through the backlog and waiting lists. Our NHS team of dentists and nurses are working at full capacity and our private dentists are now offering as many appointments as they can, to expand our care.
