Can I check the affordability of a treatment before I commit?

Yes, before you go ahead with a treatment plan you will be given your specific treatment costs and at this point you can decide to either pay in full or, depending on the treatment, take a finance plan.

Treatment pricing does vary case-to-case. We would normally book a patient in for a treatment consultation so the treatment dentist can assess the current condition of the teeth, whether the treatment can go ahead, etc. before they are able to provide a quotation for the individual treatment.

what is the difference between an Airflow treatment and a Scale and Polish treatment?

Both treatments are a standard part of a hygiene appointment, deep cleaning teeth and gums to help combat any oral health concerns. Polishing is a hygiene treatment that effectively removes stains on the front and back of teeth, leaving you with a smile to be proud of.
A scale and polish treatment is a two-part treatment, firstly scaling; to disrupt the bacterial biofilm that develops on teeth and underneath the gums. And then a polish that removes unwanted marks on the teeth and around dental work such as fillings and crown using a small rubber polishing cup (attached to a special handpiece) and polishing paste.
Airflow polishing (airpolish) is a hygiene treatment that effectively removes stains on the front and back of teeth. The procedure works by using a fine jet of compressed air, water and fine powder particles to remove staining caused by coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco and some mouthwashes.
