Facial Rejuvenation

The benefit of having this treatment done by dentists is that they have a thorough knowledge and understanding of facial anatomy and can perform this delicate work in a precise and safe manner.

Of course, no one needs to know you are having the treatment because after all, you are visiting the dentist!

Over time our muscles tighten causing lines on our face. The most common areas where wrinkles form are around the eyes, forehead and between the eyebrows.

Anti-wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections, offered by our practices, is a safe procedure that relaxes the muscles where wrinkles have formed without surgery.

Once injected into the skin, it relaxes the tiny facial muscles, which cause expression lines, by blocking the nerve impulses in them, leaving the skin looking smoother.

Areas on the face that can be treated include frown lines (vertical lines which form between the eyebrows), eyebrows, crow’s feet, forehead lines and lines around the mouth and top lip, known as ‘smoker’s lines’.

The treatment is quick, usually lasting around 5-10 minutes and requiring no anesthetic. Results will usually be seen in a few days, sometimes taking between 4-7 days for the full effect to be seen.

As this is not a permanent treatment, the effects will wear off over time. It is, therefore, possible for the procedure to be repeated every 3-4 months for effective results.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers work to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines to give you a more youthful look. The high levels of hyaluronic acid have the effect of attracting and retaining water, instantly improving the skin’s overall appearance and texture by restoring its natural plumpness.

These treatments are delivered by one of our highly experienced dentists which means you have a medical expert delivering your treatment in a safe environment.

It also has the added bonus if you don’t want anyone to know, you can say you’ve just been to the dentist.

Zoom into Composite Bonding!

The sustained increase in home working and use of Zoom, and other face to face virtual communications has meant we predict this year will lead to a surge in Composite Bonding treatments. People are more conscious of their smiles and how it comes across on camera so want to fix it before we go back to normal. Composite bonding is one of the easiest ways to solve different dental problems including chipped or cracked teeth, decaying teeth, discoloured teeth, spaces between teeth, or restoring lost teeth structure. It is a very versatile treatment which involves applying a tooth-coloured composite resin material to existing teeth. The resin is moulded by clinicians so that it creates a perfect match with the surrounding teeth. It is widely used across the world for whitening or masking discoloured teeth, improving cosmetic structure, filling dental gaps or cavities, and repairing broken or fractured teeth. Have you considered composite bonding? www.together.dental/contact/
