What Are Fastbraces?

After being tested for two decades, Fastbraces™ technology is now becoming widely available. The goal of this treatment is to move the crown of the tooth as well as its root into the desired place at the same time.

The procedure manipulates force and flexibility in order to achieve this goal, and it does so by utilizing an elbow-shaped bracket.

Unlike traditional square brackets, Fastbraces™ technology combines elbow-shaped brackets with an elevated slot in order to improve the flexibility of the wire. These mechanics allow for extra tipping and torquing so that the root is affected throughout the entire treatment, right from the beginning.

How long will you need Fastbraces for?

Fastbraces work substantially quicker than traditional orthodontic treatments, which is appealing to many individuals who are looking to straighten their teeth for a beautiful smile. This is also particularly appealing to children, who are typically very concerned with how long they will have to wear their braces.

Traditional braces usually require up to two years to complete the job. This is because the process is broken down into two stages: First, the crown is moved into the desired position, and then the root takes time to catch up. Fastbraces technology makes it possible for treatment to be completed in as little as one year, and in some cases just a few months.

Fastbraces™ treatment is just as safe as traditional orthodontics, and its fast paced nature even comes with a few hidden benefits. Since you will be wearing your Fastbraces™ for a relatively brief period of time, you will not make as many trips to your orthodontist for check-ups, which saves you time and money. Braces may also sometimes lead to tooth decay due to difficulty in practicing proper oral hygiene; this threat is reduced with Fastbraces™.

Benefits Of Fastbraces:

  • A great way to straighten your teeth
  • Subtle – the clear option is not obvious to the naked eye
  • Minimal retainer wear
  • Natural bite preserved
  • Quick results
  • Clinically proven
  • High success rate

Zoom into Composite Bonding!

The sustained increase in home working and use of Zoom, and other face to face virtual communications has meant we predict this year will lead to a surge in Composite Bonding treatments. People are more conscious of their smiles and how it comes across on camera so want to fix it before we go back to normal. Composite bonding is one of the easiest ways to solve different dental problems including chipped or cracked teeth, decaying teeth, discoloured teeth, spaces between teeth, or restoring lost teeth structure. It is a very versatile treatment which involves applying a tooth-coloured composite resin material to existing teeth. The resin is moulded by clinicians so that it creates a perfect match with the surrounding teeth. It is widely used across the world for whitening or masking discoloured teeth, improving cosmetic structure, filling dental gaps or cavities, and repairing broken or fractured teeth. Have you considered composite bonding? www.together.dental/contact/

'Wrinkles will only go where the smiles have been'!

Over time muscles in our face tighten and cause lines on our face. The most common areas where wrinkles form are around the eyes, forehead and between the eyebrows. Though growing old is a part of life, we understand the desire to treat these lines. Here at Together Dental we offer facial rejuvenation treatments to those looking for soft and subtle improvements to help them achieve a more youthful look.

Treatments are carried out by our highly experienced team and the benefit of having this treatment done by dentists is that they have a thorough knowledge and understanding of facial anatomy and can perform this delicate work in a precise and safe manner.
